Established in 2008, we have grown into the largest spearfishing club in the Northeast with over 300 members.

Our divers hail from all over the North East, from Maine to New Jersey, but we “Dive the World Over”. Members routinely travel the world, flashing our iconic striped bass dive flag! Tristate is a thriving community of adventure-loving, safety-conscious divers.

Tristate Skindivers holds a season-long leaderboard style competition, with many species categories, separated into speargun and polespear divisions. Winners of these categories will receive some really cool prizes thanks to our amazing sponsors.

We host multiple meets throughout the season, bringing together the dive community. The camaraderie and food is incredible, and the events feature prizes from top companies from around the world.

Tristate will host other events such as beach cleanups and safety briefings, as the opportunities arise.
